Today I work half day due to new year's eve. Busy giler babe (nasib tak jadi giler... hehe!) tadi at work. I have to submit all December 2007 reports by 3 January 2008 in the morning as they want to start everything afresh. Can you just imagine that once I stepped into the office in the morning at 0830 till 1300 hours, I tak bergerak from my seat. Thanks to Timothy for helping me to sieve the MK Quotes.

Yesterday, went to another one of my Higher Nitec classmate's engagement at Anchorvale Road. I am happy for her because in the past (masa time sekolah dulu), the couple frequent faced relationship problems. Alhamdullilah. Inilah yang dikatakan dengan berkat kesabaran dan ketabahan, this is the result that she got. =)

In the evening, went to one of my Higher Nitec classmate's engagement. It has been so long we tak jumpa each other ever since we graduated. Some got to continue their studies in polytechnics, the guys got into NS and whereas us, busy working, kumpul duit nak kahwin katakan... Haha!!! Congratulations to Jae Erwani and Irwan. Semoga pertunangan ini berkekalan hingga ke pelamin... Amin!

We are approaching year 2008. How about time for a clean sweep in our lives?

A clean sweep is a way to streamline, simplify and refocus our lives. Most of us have a ton of baggage and clutter that we carry with us on this journey. These might include 'messes', like incomplete relationships or people we have yet to forgive (or apologise to). The baggage in our life could include 'undones', like a will that needs to be prepared or a upgrading ourselves. The clutter could relate to an unkempt yard or a bunch of unpacked boxes stacked in our house.

The idea is:

When we clean sweep those things, put them into order or delete what needs to be eliminated from our life. We will feel lighter, happier and our mind will experience more peace. We will have more time to do what's most important. We are more relaxed and in the flow. We have more energy (messes - whether physical or emotional drain us). We are more creative.

So let's do a clean sweep in our lives.

For the past few days, it was very well spent.

1) 21 December 2007, Friday - Shah was on leave. I had my lunch break with him. Lucky me because his home and my workplace is nearby. He fetched me after work and we headed to Funan IT Mall. He bought himself a Sony Cybershot H7 camera. We chilled somewhere near the Esplanade and that time juga he tried to use his camera.






2) 22 December 2007, Saturday - My cousin turned one year older. Attended my cousin's birthday celebration with my family and Shah. Before that, Shah and I went to Orchard, looking for what to get for her as a present. In the end, we got a Love Passport perfume.

3) 23 December 2007, Sunday - Attended Farah's brother wedding. After that went home and got changed. Took my passport photos since I have to renew my passport, going to expired very soon lah. Watched National Treasure at Cathay Cineplex, Dhoby Ghaut. Anyway, the movie is the same thing as part one - The City Of Gold.

4) 24 December 2007, Monday - Chirstmas celebration at work and celebration for our GM as he will be retiring end of this month. The theme of this celebration was Swavorski Pink. Majority of us wore pink, maroon and red on that day. There were games, catered lunch, performance by the DB Executives, lucky draw, exchange gifts, karaoke and more.

After the celebration, met up with Shah. We went to GV Yishun and watched Alvin and the Chipmunks. I know the movie was like dah lama but still the theatre was full. Geram huh tengok tu chipmunks. Kalau dapat nak cubit-cubit tu chipmunks... Haha!!!

5) 25 December 2007, Tuesday - It was Christmas Day. Not a working day for me. Nothing much to do. TV programs weren't that nice. All cerita pasal Christmas. Parents and I went to Arab Street. Coincidentally, we met my cousin and his family. Amacam leh terserempak ni... My mum wanted to take her baju yang dah di-alter at Hejab Iran. After solat maghrib at Masjid Sultan, we went to my auntie's home.

See my schedule for the whole week is damn packed and ended up I did not go to work on 26 December 2007, Wednesday. Reason was I felt very very giddy. Spent the whole day sleeping and resting. When yesterday I got back into the office, ah ambik kau, too many reports nak kena buat...

Then just now, got to know that there will be a major re-org in the department next year, 2008. Tak abis-abis... Every three months they will do this because they afraid that the productivity something like that will drop. This time, all teams will be doing Motor projects and they have to cross sell other projects like Home/PAID, Foreign Maid and more (which I don't remember). Makin bertambah lah keje macam gini... Ish Ish Ish... I know many of the team members and leaders are upset with the new teaming but what to do, the decision made was them not us.

However, it is good because you have the chance to mix with all the staff in the outbound section, meet different people with different characters and attitudes, learn new leadership from the new team leaders, new skills and lot more. The most important thing is that do not worry, you all are still in the same department and will still meet each other no matter what. Just think positively... =)

Dugaan dalam hidup, tidak dapat kita lari. Sentiasa akan bersama. Dugaan senang atau susah bukan soalnya. Soalnya melibatkan hati dan perasaan. Berada dalam keadaan yang no win situation, memang parah. Tetapi hidup kena diteruskan, moga jiwa dapat bertahan. Bolehkan? Sebab diri tetap manusia dan adakah masa itu dapat meleraikan segala persoalan??? Mampukah penantian dilalui??? Jawapan... Di awangan...


Hidup memerlukan pengorbananan. Pengorbanan memerlukan perjuangan.Perjuangan memerlukan ketabahan. Ketabahan memerlukan keyakinan.Keyakinan pula menentukan kejayaan. Kejayaan pula akan menentukan kebahagiaan.


Semoga Allah mengurniakan masyarakat Islam dengan Eiduladha yang diberkati dan menganugerahkan jemaah haji dengan haji yang mabrur. Amin...

Firstly, thousand of apologies of not updating. Just could't find the right time to blog. Work is normal. Sometimes busy and sometimes not.

Now, I am the one who will be assigning leads to them, no more their team leaders due to some problem arised recently.

On Friday, our CEO delivered boxes of roses for the ladies and ferrero rocher chocolates for the guys because they had some celebrations on Rev-up thingy on Thursday. So lovely!

I was on hiatus for the past few days, in fact for months I guess. See la when was the last date I blogged. I was too busy and lots of things to focus on. That was why I set my blog to private. Don't get the wrong idea of why I suddenly set it to private, ok! There's nothing I want to hide! =)
